Balderdash *from my notebook: 3rd February 2009*

Being human,
so may things to see
so many things to hear
so many things to do
so many to consider
so many to judge
so much to suffer
so long to live yet
so short to end

Life,
so full of deceit
so full of hypocrisy
so full of make beliefs
so much to exploit
so many to manipulate
so much to regret
so long to live and
so short to waste

Death,
so unpredictable
so frightening
so unknown
so strange

Humans,
I am you!
But I'm tired of being you.

Life,
I cherish you!
Yet I despise you.

Death,
I fear, I'm awed by you.
But you listen to no plea.

Lazy.

There was no more class after Japanese today, since Madam Yate's canceled her replacement class. Now how's that? Canceling a replacement class which is supposed to replace to a class that she canceled before? Well, we could not be happier!

Right at the moment I'm writing this, I still haven't finished, err, haven't started writing Article Review for Curriculum and Instruction. Damn. So come forth the title of this post, "Lazy."

Laziness is not a habit. Laziness is a sickness. It is a disease. Why? Because it infects everyone nearby to you. Believe it or not, the laziness influenza is worse than influenza A a.k.a H1N1.

Few evidences why laziness is worse than H1N1:

1. It spreads airborne. H1N1 don't. And in most cases, laziness spreads through mind and even through visual. Like those sci-fi films. I believe laziness came from extra terrestrial beings. Or Freemason. Could be Illuminati. It is humanity's threat!

2. H1N1 only infects some people and usually kills high risk patients. But laziness could infect anyone. There are no symptoms. Once you were infected by laziness, you just become lazy. Just like that. See? That's the power of this long surviving influenza. And laziness could kill anyone. With slow, worthless and nonsensical death.

3. Vaccine for H1N1 is steadily developed by WHO, which shall be released in 5 months if I'm not mistaken. But for laziness, no. It haunts mankind for so many centuries. Some people are cured. But as generations expand, more and more people are getting infected. And laziness influenza do mutate and evolve. Because there are so many kinds of laziness. Malas makan. Malas buat kerja. Malas belajar. Malas mengajar. Malas ke kelas. Malas berfikir. Malas mengira. Malas membaca. Malas menulis blog. Malas hidup. Malas mandi. Malas masak. Duh. And worst of all, I'm a victim of this influenza.

That's all! Thanks for reading. Err... Are you infected too?

Blind

Right about now
I have few simple things in mind
have you eaten?
are you sleeping?
still you have that smile?
and
are you happy?

Despite of my resentment
and how I refused this separation
amidst the pain
I do hope and always will
that you'll be fine
punish me all you want
for that forsaken past

But there's one thing I shall utter
I was blinded by anger you said
but blinded by the past you are

I see your pain
and I had mine just the same

Now, dear
soar, fly and spread your wings!
for I am a sinner
and
you're my sin.

My Immortal

I wanted this
immortality
so much
like no other
not the cliché
but the perfection

Immortal
yet with no attachment
to
loneliness
attachment
or
the desire to belong
to feel
to cry
to weep
to hurt

I'll be
immortal
powerful
invulnerable
inscrutable

and
in this forbidden dream
I'll be forever in time
with nothingness
that I would embrace
and
feel not a bit of loneliness.

Rainbow.

I'm a seeker
I'm a traveler
who seeks for a rainbow
neither for its beginning nor its end
because I know it's a redundant nonsense
but for a gold pot of happiness
that exists amidst the end and the beginning
the perfect be-all and end-all
the so-called cure of sadness
the miraculous elixir
saviour of hearts

Now my journey ended
shocked and awed I was
by the content of the pot
for it was none
other than serpents and venom
and overflowing ooze of lies!

Back to business.

After long, now I decided that I shall write again. Back into blogging though it is not my cup of tea.
